ROBIN HOOD

Year 3 and year 4 students have watched the movie Robin Hood and now we are going to read the story and prepare a play. We are going to paint different sets for the scenes.  We will create our own costumes, too!!!

This story comes from the United Kingdom.  Our Comenius friends from the UK did an excellent job at their school, and we are going to read and learn about it.

This is a fragment of the movie.  You can watch it and remember who are the main characters in this story.  In every class students will play the story.

And you can also listen to these songs:
Song 1:  Robin Hood and Little John song
Song 2: The Phony King of England
Song 3: The Adventures of Robin Hood

To see real pictures of Sherwood Forest where Robin Hood and the outlaws lived: Sherwood Forest

Comenius work on Robin Hood by our European friends: Robin Hood, United Kingdom

PEACE DAY

Dear boys and girls,

It's PEACE day today.  You have all read a story in class in Spanish, The War of the Bells by Giani Rodari.  We brought this story from our first Comenius exchange in Turkey. The Italian students in Campobello di Licata, Sicily read this story and prepared  a video for us.
We have all learned a nice song that you can find in our school's website.  However, some of you wanted to hear the PEACE song we learned last year.  So here you have the video:

Remember, everyday should be PEACE day.  You need to be good with your friends, teachers and families.

A story from TURKEY

Hodja with his horseHello children,

A very famous man in Turkey is HODJA.  He is a wise old man and there are lots of stories about him.  You can learn a lot with his stories.  We brought one story when we went to Gebze, Turkey in October in the first Comenius meeting.

Here you have a nice story with this character.  Maybe some of you will read one of his stories in Catalán.  you will see soon with Lorena.

To have a look at the story, you can click and read it here, this is in the web site Daya told us about.  It is a very famous web site English children use a lot:  HODJA and the Mixed-Up Feet

The story is first written in English and then in Turkish, so don't worry if you don't understand all the lines!!!  Have FUN!!!
